HMS 7th Graders tackle global challenges with 'Be the Change' unit

Students in the "Be the Change" interdisciplinary unit at Hampton Middle School explored the significance of attention and empathy in addressing global challenges.

Every year, students in Mrs. Catherine Close's and Mr. David Hartman's 7th-grade English classes craft editorials centered around a global challenge of their choosing. They delve into the background of the issues and conduct research during their history class to inform their perspectives.
