The Hampton Township School District Board of School Directors during work session meeting on Jan. 9 recognized and congratulated the following students on their accomplishments:

PMEA Senior High District Orchestra

  • Kate Chapman - Cello

  • David Poirier – Viola

PMEA Junior High Orchestra

  • Zachary Jiang – Violin

Allegheny Valley Senior Honors Band 

  • Jason Andrews - Trumpet

  • Nicole Lichtenfels - Clarinet

  • Faith Mack – Alto Saxophone

Junior High Honors Band

  • Meghan Armstrong - Clarinet

  • Corbin Belau - Percussion

  • Mabel Buben - Flute

  • Grace Girard - Clarinet

  • Richard Ma – Alto Saxophone

  • Jordyn Moyer – French Horn

  • Sydney Osborne - Trombone

  • Matthew Pike – Bass Clarinet

PMEA Band or Orchestra and the Allegheny Valley Honors Bands

  • Brooks Brady – PMEA Senior High District Band and the Allegheny Valley Senior High Honors Band for Trumpet

  • Aidan Casey – PMEA Junior High Orchestra and the Allegheny Valley Junior High Honors Band, both for Trumpet

  • Anna Houpt – PMEA District 1 Honors Band, the PMEA Senior High District Band and the Allegheny Valley Senior High Honors Band for Clarinet

  • Samantha Nicely – PMEA District 1 Honors Band and the Allegheny Valley Senior High Honors Band for Clarinet

The Board extended its appreciation to the Musical Art Educators for their dedication and support to HTSD students.

The Board also congratulated following students whose artwork was selected as for the Winners of the 2022 District Holiday Cards contest:

  • Vera Mauro, Grade 3, Wyland Elementary School

  • Rosha Kazemi, Grade 8, Hampton Middle School

  • Carter Anderson, Grade 11, Hampton High School
