HTSD hiring for Guest Substitute Teacher Program - Fall 2024

If you are thinking about a career in education, returning to the workforce, or looking to work with children — you can apply now for HTSD’s highly successful Guest Substitute Teacher Program.

This program is a wonderful opportunity for adults with a college degree who, with training, can become day-to-day substitute teachers in Hampton. Please note that this program is for adults who are not certified Pennsylvania teachers but who would enjoy an opportunity to be a substitute teacher in the Hampton Schools. Guest Substitute Teachers will be paid $100 per day for the first 30 days of substitute work, and $120 per day for each day afterwards. Schedules are flexible.

Applications are due by Sept. 12, 2024. An Information Session will take place Sept. 16, 2024, at 7 p.m. in the Hampton Middle School Library. Additional details and information about the Guest Substitute Teacher Program will be provided at that time. Selected candidates will be invited to a free one-day training program on Sept. 26, 2024.
