HTSD hiring for Guest Substitute Teacher Program - Spring 2025

If you are thinking about a career in education, returning to the workforce, or looking to work with children — you can apply now for HTSD’s highly successful Guest Substitute Teacher Program.

This program is a wonderful opportunity for adults with a college degree who, with training, can become day-to-day substitute teachers in Hampton. Please note that this program is for adults who are not certified Pennsylvania teachers but who would enjoy an opportunity to be a substitute teacher in the Hampton Schools. Guest Substitute Teachers are paid $120 per day, and schedules are flexible.

Applications are due by Feb. 14, 2025. An Information Session will take place on Feb. 18, 2025 at 7 p.m. in the Middle School Library. Additional details and information about the Guest Substitute Teacher Program will be provided at that time. Selected candidates will be invited to a free one-day training program on Feb. 25, 2025.
