HTSD Schools Closed on May 2

There will be no school for the Hampton Township School District on Friday, May 2. Remote learning will not take place either.

Following Tuesday's severe storms, many residents and most of our schools remain without power. Additionally, multiple roads throughout the township are still closed due to downed electrical wires. The power company and Township are working diligently to restore power and reopen roads, but significant work remains. Forecasted storms tonight may further complicate recovery efforts.

Despite these challenges, the Hampton High School prom scheduled offsite for tomorrow, May 2, will proceed as planned. Decisions regarding other after-school activities and evening events will be made tomorrow as more information becomes available.
